MOVEMENT HEALTH 2030

About Us

We believe that everyone deserves access to good healthcare, whenever and wherever they need it.

What is Movement Health 2030?

Movement Health 2030 was founded in 2019 to drive forward equal access to high quality healthcare across the world so that everyone can live their best, healthiest lives.

What do we do at Movement Health 2030?

We work on the ground with governments, health leaders and the private and third sectors to prepare health systems for the demands of the future and support them in adopting the necessary innovations to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

We aim to be a catalyst for global healthcare change and a leader of action, with the rights, expectations and hopes of future generations front of mind.

Together, with our partners, we are developing best practice solutions with healthcare systems around the world to help meet the increasing challenges and demands placed on healthcare and save lives.

Why are we so passionate about transforming healthcare systems?

Over the past two years, we have seen the life-changing potential that science and technology can offer, bringing us breakthroughs like the COVID-19 vaccine. However, this same period has further exposed widening inequalities within health systems and between different parts of the world.

Countries around the world face tremendous pressures on their health systems - populations are rising, we are living longer, and chronic conditions are increasing. Inequalities are also rising, with quality healthcare still elusive to many millions of people. Not everyone has had the same access to the innovations created to fight the pandemic.

In 2022, we will see the 8th billionth baby born into a world beset by these inequalities, where health systems lack the capacity to adopt the innovation required to meet growing demands and at least a third of people still die from preventable causes.

This must change. In 2015, the UN set the bold goal of reducing premature mortality by one third by 2030. To achieve this, health systems must radically transform if we are to reach this ambitious target.

We believe that every person has the right to benefit from great leaps forward in science and technology, and not to have their life and health defined by where they are born. At Movement Health, we are on a mission to make this a reality now and for future generations.
